Our 2019 Derby Arena Cyclone24 is less than 8 weeks away, and we are very pleased to be once again supported by the wonderful team at Impact Physio.
Rachel and her team will be supporting the riders in our challenge and will be on site both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to support with sports massages and tend any aches or pains, and keep those legs in good working order!
A message from the Impact Physio team
We trust that your training is going well and that you are confident in your bike set up and preparation for the challenge ahead. The main cause of training and event niggles are typically due to not being robust enough for the event – there is usually a fine line between getting enough miles in, juggling other commitments and making sure there is a balance in your training.
If you do have any concerns its best to get them assessed well before the event, typically lower back and knees are prime areas to feel the miles. It may be that some specific exercises to target these areas may be of benefit or if you are keen to supplement your training programmes with some sports massage then one of our 4 clinics is conveniently situated at the Derby Arena.
Please get in touch if you need us before the challenge, if not we look forward to supporting you during the event.
Best wishes, Rachel, Robyn, Chris & Sally.
Many thanks to Rachel and the team at Impact Physio for supporting our brave cyclists taking part in Cyclone24 Derby 2019. If you have any questions about their services ahead of taking part in Cyclone24 please contact them via the details below;
